A few things going on in this cart:</p><p>1. Reduced affordability: Higher home prices (especially after 2020) mean younger buyers are often priced out, delaying the age at which they can buy.</p><p>3. Changing demographics: Larger cohorts of older buyers (downsizing or buying vacation homes) can push up the median.</p><p>3. Shifts in life milestones: People may be marrying, starting families, and purchasing homes later than in previous generations.<br /></p><p>But I think the standout reason is reduced affordability. </p>",
