  "Summary": "<p>This is an interesting look at at government PCE data showing the spend index relative to 2007 for certain categories and the outsized spend in recreational goods.  I suspect a lot of this spend was compressed into the COVID time frame and considering depressed spend in the category for the 2023 and so far, 2024 years, it is not a new normal for the category.</p>",
